Computer centre of Bhavnagar University was established in 1990 and since
then it has served as the central computing facility to the university.
The centre provides computing services to the University administration
for its accounting, salary, cash counter, income tax,
results processing for examinations etc. applications and handles network administration.
The centre is equipped with IBM
servers, Intel Xeon
servers and a number of desktop computers running software like various Operating Systems from MS-Windows
family (Servers & desktops), Linux, RDBMS, etc..
